Inventors created the monoclonal antibodies by immunizing Armenian hamster or BALB/c background BTLA -/- mice. Hamster monoclonal 6A6 is of the IgG isotype, whereas all murine Abs are IgG1κ. Some of the antibodies recognize the mouse BTLA C57/BL6 allele (6A6, 3F9.C6) and some are panspecific (6F9, 6G3, 6H6, 8F4, 3F9.D12).
